We’re looking for a frontend or full stack developer with a Frontend focus to help us improve construction project efficiency with lean project management techniques.
The hired person will join our only full stack developer in shaping, designing, validating and implementing the vision for our product, both on web and mobile. Besides implementation of new features, fixing issues and improving performance, work will include participating in the product development with ideas and input about technical aspects. We believe developers should be missionaries, not mercenaries, and have ownership of their work and be able to shape the direction of the product according to the client’s needs.
The ideal candidate for this job has a good grasp of frontend development frameworks and architecture patterns (eg. mobx/redux/vuex) and is familiar with state management in a frontend application. They value organisation and careful evolution of application state of component library, and their dependencies.
They have experience in at least one major web framework such as React, Vue or equivalent.
They have experience in UI and UX design, and they know the importance of early validation before building things. They put user feedback and user validation ahead of their own ideas and vision.
We use Vue + Vuex in our web app, we are starting a project with React Native + Mobx for our mobile app, we use Ruby on Rails for our backend, and we deploy things on Docker swarm with ansible, portainer and github actions. Any experience in any of these specific technologies would be a major plus.
